HA HA HA!! I feel you! Surely your new diet is not so strict that you can't have, say, a piece or two of Dove Promises Chocolate? They're small, delicious, and only 44 calories per piece. :)
Yes, but the problem is, I am physically incapable of having just one or two. I have to totally go away from it all for a while, just to make the cravings stop.
I had one of those bags of M&Ms at school today. Then I was dying for more...
I do kind of know what you mean. I've been giving up all chocolate for Lent for a few years now. The one year I made a few exceptions ahead of time for various special occasions, it made it so much harder!
I am married to my best friend and have a three-year-old son who has Sensory Processing Disorder. I have a mother who is going on six years since she was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I work full-time as a sign language interpreter in a high school. Much of this blog will be stories about dealing with SPD in our every day life, with other random things sprinkled in.

And chocolate has its benefits. I agree, a small amount won't hurt.

When I'm REALLY craving something, I brush my teeth. Because everything tastes funny right after you brush your teeth!
